Years ago I developed Decidix software to do feasibility studies for companies in the electricity sector. The goal was to create an easy-to-use tool for people who are not specialized in financial mathematics techniques and for people with no technical background experience that influence the viability of the business. The focus is on energy generation projects with renewable energy (wind, SHPs, solar, biomass and biodiesel), non-renewable (natural gas, coal, oil) and transmission lines and distribution substations.
Users liked and I applied courses to hundreds of experts from energy utilities, oil and gas companies and investors primarily in the renewable energy business. It was even used as a tool in the Brazilian Ministry of Energy studies. |
Há uns 20 anos atrás anos atrás eu desenvolvi o software Decidix para fazer estudos de viabilidade para as empresas do setor elétrico. O objetivo foi criar uma ferramenta fácil de usar por pessoas não especializadas em técnicas de matemática financeira e para pessoas sem experiência em questões técnicas que influenciam na viabilidade do negócio.
O foco está em projetos de geração de energia com energias renováveis (vento, PCHs, solar, biomassa e biodiesel), não renováveis (gás natural, carvão, petróleo) e linhas de transmissão e subestações de distribuição.
Os usuários gostaram e apliquei cursos para centenas de especialistas de concessionárias de energia, empresas de petróleo e gás e investidores principalmente no negócio das energias renováveis. Foi usado inclusive como ferramenta em estudos do MME. |

Some operating instructions are shown on the first screen of the software. There is no Instruction Manual, but the file below is from a training I was used to apply. For people with some knowledge in concepts of technical economic evaluation it will be possible to use the tool by reading this material.

STEP 2: Read these installation instructions before clicking the installer button on the next line. The use is free and the risk is only yours if you want to use it. Cognitor and I Sergio Feitoza, author of the software, are not responsible for anything related to use or results. If you do not understand this do not install nor use
a) Download the installer file by clicking the button on the next line. In the "Downloads" folder you will have the file Setup_Decidix_3MB.rar compressed with WinRar. If you do not have WinRar download a trial version on the Web as you will only need it once.
b) After unzipping the installer you will have an executable file called SETUP_Decidix_3MB. Computers naturally hate different executable files. Make the tests you want and if you are sure to install go ahead.
c) When you run the installer, you will be asked for a password. The password is decidix2012 (use lowercase letters)
Upon installation, only one directory will be created. It's called c: // sergiofeitoza. Within it will be the files
- Decidix.exe
- Some XML files (including the database): t_trend.xml and t_cds_Fluxo.xml and cds_sens.xml and t_cds_R1.xml and t_cdsEcon.xml and t_projetos.xml
- Perfildec.mlp
- Unis000.exe (the uninstall file)
When you open the application, on the first screen, you can set the language of the screens to Portuguese or English (default) or Spanish or French.
If you have problems with the installation, please explain the messages received and I will try to help you if it is something quick.
I don't have time to give technical support. To uninstall Decidix you can use the uninstall file or simply delete the directory. Note that all files will be deleted, including the database.

PASSO 2: Leia estas instruções de instalação antes de clicar no botão do instalador na linha seguinte. O uso é livre e o risco é apenas seu se quiser usar. A Cognitor e eu Sergio Feitoza, autor do software não nos responsabilizamos por nada relativo ao uso ou resultados. Se não entender isto não instale nem use.
a) Baixe o arquivo do instalador clicando no botão na linha seguinte. Na pasta "Downloads" você terá o arquivo Setup_Decidix_3MB.rar compactado com o WinRar. Se você não tem o WinRar baixe uma versão trial na Web pois só vai precisar uma vez.
b) Depois de descompactar o instalador você terá um arquivo executável chamado SETUP_Decidix_3MB . Computadores naturalmente odeiam arquivos executaveis diferentes. Faça os testes que desejar e se estiver r seguro em instalar vá emm frente.
c) Quando executar o instalador será solicitada uma senha. A senha é decidix2012 (use letras minúsculas)
Na instalação somente um diretório será criado. Chama-se c :// sergiofeitoza. Dentro dele haverá os arquivos
- Decidix.exe
- Alguns arquivos XML (a base de dados inclusive): t_trend.xml e t_cds_Fluxo.xml e cds_sens.xml e t_cds_R1.xml e t_cdsEcon.xml e t_projetos.xml
- Perfildec.mlp
- Unis000.exe (o arquivo de desinstalação)
Quando você abrir o aplicativo poderá na primeira tela, definir o idioma das telas para Português ou Ingles (padrão) ou Espanhol ou Francês.
Se você tiver problemas com a instalação explique as mensagens recebidas e vou tentar ajudá-lo se for algo rápido.
Não tenho tempo para dar suporte técnico. Para desinstalar o Decidix você pode usar o arquivo de desinstalação ou simplesmente excluir o diretório. Note que todos os arquivos serão apagados, incluisive a base de dados.
